Tile floor designs for 2022

Nature inspired designs are all the rage this year. Hunter Tile and Stone have been busy with new challenges in bringing the outside into the client’s home. Check out two of our favorites so far this year:

A unique design request by the client, hexagon tiles woven into a wood floor.

This unique design was a nailbiter! The thought of cutting into the beautiful wood floor made Mike cringe. The client was determined to see this creation come to life, so Mike dove in. The hexagon tiles woven into the wood floor were such a hit that the client has asked Mike to continue this in other areas of the home. A reflection of the trends to bring natural materials and their flowing interplay inside.

Custom tile shower with river rock waterfall by Hunter Tile and Stone.

Always up for a challenge, Mike was excited about this project from the start. The customer described the vision and Mike created a masterpiece. Suggesting falling water, the pebbles soften the otherwise angular plank tile in creating a space of natural beauty and functionality.

At Hunter Tile and Stone, we aim to please. Let us bring your vision to reality by creating a Hunter masterpiece in your home.

2020 tile styles for your home

It seems the 2020 trends are leaning toward bold and natural. A strange mix you say? Wood look tile floors will continue to be popular, with subway tile patterns also in high demand. Bold color and patterns such as bohemian mosaic and glass tile will be the rage. Handcrafted, faux wood and sculpted are additional choices for the new year.

The boldest trend looks like colored grout. Not just natural colors, but BOLD colors. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so let us know what your eye beholds and we will try our best to make it happen.

Whatever your pleasure, be sure to hire a licensed contractor to demo and install your masterpiece. It always pays off in the end. Happy New Year from Hunter Tile and Stone!
